Meet Our Team

Throughout his career, Patrick Hansen has specialized in new start-ups and has extensive experience in real estate and construction. A graduate of Cornell University with a bachelor of science in consumer economics, Patrick began his career in sales and marketing in the steel industry, before finding his calling in real estate finance. He went on to spend 38 years in the mortgage banking industry. 

While Patrick is a native of the Chicago area, where he attended Loyola Academy High School in Wilmette, the Chesapeake Bay area is his longtime home and he is an active member of the local community. He is a longtime resident of Kent Island, Maryland. An avid golfer with a passion for football and lacrosse, Patrick is a founder of the Island Football Network and the Kent Island Athletic Boosters, as well as a founder of Collegiate Capital Advisors LLC and one of the founding members of the Cornell Football Association. He currently lives in Chester, Maryland, where he enjoys boating on the Chesapeake and spending time with friends and family, which includes five sons and six granddaughters.

Sherri Covell is currently president of Covell Communities LLC, a full service home building company based on Kent Island, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. She has been part of the company since its inception by husband Charles L Covell as a creator of communities and homes that focus on enriching people's lives.  She is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA) and received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University.
